Parent day at Gym

It was parent day at gymnastics today. 3 was hoping it would be like the summer games they do and he would get a trophy, but all he got was a ribbon.  I think he has made big improvements in the past year. I was able to get two videos of his ring routine, but we were all the way across the gym so I had the camera zoomed in as close as possible.  I also didn't realize I wouldn't be able to turn the video after I downloaded it like you can a picture. So, sorry you'll have to crane your neck to see them.

The girls came with me to watch and support their brother.  The baby loves being out and about around people and watching them.  She was happy and quiet the whole time.  Big sister had a good time too.  She saw several friends from school.

We were in a bad position to get any video of 3's paummel horse routine.  All I got was this one blurry picture.  I guess it is good he goes twice a week. I get another chance Thursday.  We will be early to get better seats. I told 1 he had to come along and help me. Videoing from across the room while holding an infant and sitting on 10 inches off the ground is not easy. So watch for more of 3 on Thursday night.

He really loves gymnastics and tells everyone he is going to be in the Olympics some day. I remind him that it takes lots of practice, hard work and many years for a goal like that.  Hopefully he will find the work worth it and stick with it.










When I was downloading pictures and videos off the camera tonight I discovered that I had an incognito photographer this afternoon in the car, while I was distracted driving.  Two of the pictures were funny enough to share so here they are too.
